In spirtual life, there are times we face 'dryness', a feeling of being
alone in a desert. No breeze, No comfort - A life with out Abba, Jesus and
the Holy Spirit. Its tiresome. Previous week I too was struggling to come
out from such a situation.Few days back before going to school consciously I
asked Lord to give me strength to hold on to Him - cling to Him in faith, in
trust, and in love.

My faviourate class in the school is 6th standard. That day during lunch
break the class was noisy as usual and I struggled hard to control the
class. I was bent on finishing the Geography portions. While I was bussy
taking the class, a cute fat boy named Karun came to me with tears
rolling down his eyes. I enquired the reason. And he very sadly replied that
the boy sitting next to him teased him saying that he has no father (as his
dad had expired) saying that he will have no one to bring him gifts...

I was moved by what he said, because that was a painful cry indeed.
A cry of an innocent heart......
I scolded the fellow sitting beside him and asked him never to tease Karun
again. He agreed and went back to his seat.
In turn I asked Karun - " Who is your dad? "
"Samson"
Again I repeated "Who IS your dad??"
"God" in mild shivering voice he replied.
"Do you know where is your dad now?"
"With God, in heaven"
"Then why do you worry??"
Karun was silent.......
"Now are you sad thinking about your dad?"
"No madam, my dad is with God" I added, " So don't worry, your dad is not
phyiscally with you but he will ask God to meet all needs of Karun, but in
return Karun must be always happy and cheerful. No more weeping, Agreed?"
He nodded his head and went back to his seat with a cheerful face.
I feel fresh after sharing "God" with the other person. Yes, when I
share Jesus with another person the 'dryness' that I experienced slowly
faded away, like mist when the sun shines!

Friends now I know when we share Jesus, we grow more in Him.
So don't waste time strat "Sharing" Yes, Share about Jesus that only will
last for ever.

More than that, I'm thankful to Lord for my vocation as a teacher, because
it gives me a chance to comfort each and ever little souls that comes before
me and also revives me. Same way, I'm sure, you too are blessed. In what
ever profession you are, you are called to be a blessing for others.
Come on, Share Jesus where ever you are.

Being a teacher's day, I wish all the teachers in this beautiful net that
you may be a light that become beackon in the darkness. Wishing you all a
royal journey in your vocation.

Praise God!
