I know it is long after the Valentines Day...but I still thought I will
share my views on this subject.

Is it alright for young people to fall in love? Why not? As long as we
are not hurting anybody with the feelings we carry in our heart and are
guided by the right spirit, I believe falling in love is not wrong. And
what I would also like to add is it is important that love is selfless
and yeah loving somebody could just mean praying for them, feeling for
them and sharing their joys and sorrows. And it really doesn't have to
do anything with getting married. I see most of us in this mailing list
signing off as "love xyz". All we share is a common cause here and hence
the bonding.

And as far as the younger generation is concerned, when you think you
are in love, probably it would be a good idea to include our parents
also in this new relationship. More often for them to guide you, so that
you don't really get into something probably you wouldn't like to be in
after about 10 years of your life. One question which you should
probably ask yourself is will I be able to love this person the same way
as I love him/her now even after times pass, even if he/she doesn't love
me as much as I love him(I know love is not measurable...but yet again
it is just a feeling). Can I forgive him/her whole heartedly time and
again whenever I'm hurt due to him? Am I ready to give him a second
chance every time? And if the answer for this question truthfully is an
"Yes", then you know you are definitely with the right person. And yes!
Do involve God in your decision making. Pray specially for this
relationship and I'm sure if this is not meant for you, God will never
allow you to take a wrong step!

Subject: [JOYnet] Valentine's day..is it ok to fall in love ?

Dear Bros & sis
i have a question for all of u . do u think it is alright
for
young people to fall in love ?.be coz of this situation now ..valentines
day
is so commerciallised that it would seem a tragedy to have no one with u
on
Feb 14 th ..no one to give a card ..etc...
so now young people are so much encouraged and pressurized to somehow
fall in
love even at the risk of making a wrong decision and regretting it till
the
end of our lives . so Guys what do u suggest ???
what would Jesus want us to do in such a situatu\ion ...would jesus like
us to
fall in love with some one?..is there some one Jesus selected for us in
the
very begining ..if there is how will we know?...what are the factors
which any
young person should rethink if he or she find herself to be attraced to
wards
someone?
i really don't know how many young people are in this group but i
certainly
know there are many married people in this group ..think u can enlighten
us
with your experience?....
luv deepak
