Hello all! With all the talk of Grand parents I feel all of you have forgotten that the topic for the fortnight is "innocence". But when I read all these mails of grandparents I go back to my childhood and how we enjoyed life to the fullest. Think those mails work well with the topic for the second part of March Innocence!
My younger son Georgie is just 6 months old. When I get back from office he will be waiting with his amma to welcome me at the door. The joy in his face when he sees me is something I cant describe in words. Got to see it. He just wants to jump to me. Some days I will be talking to Josh my elder son and then only get time to look up to him. He will wait till I look up to him to give that innocent smile of his. With our heavenly Father our roles and way we behave are different. He is looking on to us all the time. Always watching us and waiting for that moment when we finally decide to look up at Him (mostly with a petition or complaint!). Still He loves us children. Most of the time we are overwhelmed with the happenings around us we forget to see our God as a loving Dad. Let us renew our innocent, love-filled relation to our heavenly Dad during this fortnight when we are focusing on this topic of innocence. He loved us first ...let us love him back. Take care and God bless Abraham Fujairah, UAE Today's verse Mark 10:13-15 "And people were bringing children to him that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it." " Verse for 21/03/03 Luke 18:17 "Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it." Verse for 20/03/03 Mathew 18:4 "Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven." =============================================================================== This mail is generated from JOYnet, a Jesus Youth mailing list.
