Dear All, I need to integrated paypal subscription in one of our grails applications. To test this application I have created a subscription button in sandbox and also specified the success url and the cancel url.
The button works successfully, redirecting the application to paypal where payment is made after logging in and confirming the payment. However no notification is sent back immediately after the payment is done. After the payment user is given the option whether he wants to return to the application. In case the user decides to return to the application then alone is the success url invoked. If he does not prefer to return to the application the success url is not invoked. After the payment is made I need to implement some further actions which are mandatory for the application to work successfully. I have also tried to specify a notification url but it seems it does not accept localhost in the url and since I am using wifi did not know which IP address to use. If anyone has come across such a situation before kindly let me know how to resolve it. In case no one is able to help me, I request the co-ordinaters of the java passion website to help me resolve this problem. Since paypal has also been integrated in java passion website I am pretty sure you know what the issue is and how to fix it.
