I agree, and I have noticed this problem with other Webkit browsers, namely Chrome and Safari for Windows.
I haven't gotten around to a suggested workaround for it yet, but I'll need to solve it before I launch my project, which works fine on IE6/7 FF2/3 and Opera, but not on Safari Mac/Win and Chrome.
