Stick the code in iframes, then ad those to the page with jQuery. That's what we do on arstechnica.com.
The vast majority of ad scripts expect to do their work with document.write. This doesn't play well with any kind of deferred loading, and it's a constant headache. In theory, you may be able to move the scripts down near the bottom of the page, then reshuffle the DOM to get their container element where you want it.
