This is not great, its absolutely terrible. IE6 is the WORST browser on the web. I would have expected the jquery-dev list to be a bit more intelligent toward this matter. IE is slow and clunky. ActiveX is not a good feature, it is a major security vulnerability! It doesn't follow any standards at all!
