And I've been trying to point out that this still works. I've been doing it with simplified versions of the page, trying to focus on only what's important to the TR toggle, but here's a version of the original page: http://jsbin.com/atojo that changes only two things (not counting the <BASE> tag added to point to all the original files): - I've switched it to point to the jQuery nightly release instead of 1.2 - I've removed the "@" from the selectors As far as I can tell, this works exactly like the original did in FF3.5 and IE6/7. (Note that this one is too complicated for JS Bin's output tab. You have to see it stand-alone.) I'm not saying that toggle is not broken. I'm saying that you haven't gotten a simple enough change to demonstrate any regression. > This is the focus of this discussion. toggle() for/on TR's using the > latest jQ , vs the jQ 1.2 which (it seems) worketh ... Can you build a page that works properly with 1.2 and not with the latest? I'm not trying to defend the current build; I have no stake in it being right or wrong. I see that your page does not work; I see that Matt's page did. I think there are too many differences between his and yours to blame the differences on the toggle function of recent versions. There are some clear-cut issues with toggle. I discussed them in a recent thread: http://tinyurl.com/y9gvldl and another thread also points to issues: http://tinyurl.com/yag2orw But I don't see that your page is demonstrating an issue. -- Scott --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "jQuery Development" group.
