IHTMLWindow6 Interface and its implemenation is inside MSHTML.DLL.
Which "we" call Trident html rendering engine.
Which is used in IE8. Where we have this top vs window "feature" in
"action". And a "few more" other "features" ... unfortunately.

MSFT is dropping Trident in favour of new HTML rendering engine which
is already in use in The Expression Web.
This is not a secret and interestingly MSFT is not hiding (ie : they
are open about it) that it is better than Trident.
Ditto it is not very hard to deduce which html rendering engine will
be used in IE9. Even if it keeps the name "Trident".
I am affraid we are in for a lot of compatibility issues when IE9
comes out. So, nothing new in the IE-Land ...

Wait, there is more! There is a big dark cloud on the horizon heading
this way : XAML.
How is HTML rendered , is CSS processed perfectly and how is JScript
behaving between the two is only interesting for MSFT in the context
of producing a perfect XAML rendering engine and perfect WPF host.
Do not loose the site of that. We will have much bigger issues to talk
about than "top vs window" ;o)
