I'm currently evaluation jQuery for a web site and it looks promising. Yet jQuery is rather new and documentation is rather sparse IHMO, especially for AJAX. I'm looking for working sample code which allows to filter a list of elements (e.g. persons) through some input fields (e.g. lastname, fistname). Filter elements (lastname, fistname) are in a form while the returned list (persons) will be put into a table below. Server back end is PHP. I'm most interested in how to send the imput fields to the server and how to extract the returned list.
Does anybody have some code to share so I'm able to solve this task as fast as possible? O. Wyss
