Been working with it this morning and have found an IE bug (I think) - this is
just with the latest jquery.js and the validate.pack.js files in a page
(including or excluding my jQuery scripts has no effect). On opening I get an
alert:

---
Line: 10
Error: Expected ':'
---

Debugging takes me to the validate.pack.js. When I use the unpacked version, I
get no such error.

Everything's hunky dory in FF, but those pesky clients won't all be using it.
Hope you can re-create it, and I haven't caused a headache.

Luc

"Release early, release often". I try.

And here it is, the first release candidate of my validation plugin. A few more
features where added, a heavy refactoring completed to remove all dependencies
on IDs, the long-known Opera issue with select-elements is fixed and more.

As always, all interesting stuff is on the plugin page:
http://bassistance.de/jquery-plugins/jquery-plugin-validation/
More API documentation can be found in the Plugins API browser:
http://jquery.bassistance.de/api-browser/plugins.html#validateMap.

Please, if you are already working with the plugin, replace your version with
the RC1 release and let me know about any occuring issues.
Compability issues are considered bugs which I want to fix before the final
release.
