Exactly.

I have an enterprise scale project using a CMS system built entirely off of
jQuery in the front-end.  I built every tool for the CMS as a jQuery
plug-in, using good OOP techniques, and the whole thing is extremely simple
to understand and maintain.

Some of the developers on my team who had NEVER used jQuery before this
project were able to easily duplicate and follow the code to assist in
refinement and bug-fixing in no time at all.

Just my $0.02.
