Well I realized my mistake in the code above...

It is meant for the following HTML:

        <div id="wrapAll">
                <div id="aBox">
                        <div id="aChild"><p></p></div>
                </div>
                <p id="bottomText"></p>
        </div>

So my error was in using the .children() selector to find both #aBox
and #aChild. If I use .find() instead of .children() then it works
perfectly.
