Yeah, sometimes it's so much simplier than one makes it out to be :-) Simply starting a wrapping <div> as display: none and then using the ".show()" jQuery method on the line after the ".tabs()" call did the trick :-)
If there's one thing i am really good at is over-complicating things, heh heh
