I was being somewhat tongue in cheek. I know that many developers use Opera, but arguably Opera is a non-browser with ~<1% of the market. Anyway...I'm all for supporting multiple browsers, but we don't even test in Opera, in fact I've never tested in Opera for any site I've ever created. I've also never heard one complaint from any of the 100 or so sites I've developed. Not trying to be belligerent here...just so you know. andy

The reason that they don't implement this directly into the jQuery library is probably because of the lack of support by the Opera browser.
