Cool,
I had a look at the demo and I am asking myself whether this works also for scrollable pages. It shouldn't only placed at the bottom (if no scrollbar), it should also be at bottom-rim of window when I got a vertical scrollbar window. At demo I resized window to make it scrollable but it wasn't visible any longer at the bottom. jQuery Lover-2 wrote: > > > Here is exactly what you need :) > http://www.ben-griffiths.com/project/jquery-position-footer/ > > jQuery HowTo Resource - http://jquery-howto.blogspot.com > > > > On Fri, Jan 9, 2009 at 7:07 PM, aldana <ald...@gmx.de> wrote: >> >> >> hi, >> >> i read that you can use following for a html-snippet which should be >> fixed >> at bottom page: >> style="position: fixed; bottom: 0px;" >> >> but it does not seem to work with all browsers (e.g. IE6). does jquery >> provide an abstraction for fixed-style box at the bottom of the page? >> >> thanks. >> >> ----- >> manuel aldana >> aldana((at))gmx.de >> software-engineering blog: http://www.aldana-online.de >> -- >> View this message in context: >> http://www.nabble.com/jquery-abstraction-widget-for-fixed-panel-at-bottom-page-tp21372949s27240p21372949.html >> Sent from the jQuery General Discussion mailing list archive at >> Nabble.com. >> >> > > ----- manuel aldana aldana((at))gmx.de software-engineering blog: http://www.aldana-online.de -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/jquery-abstraction-widget-for-fixed-panel-at-bottom-page-tp21372949s27240p21373924.html Sent from the jQuery General Discussion mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
