Yeah, that's almost certainly why I opted to tinker with the actual
tablesorter Javascript, I remember having that same trouble. I'm not
enough of a Javascripter to know quite what went wrong.

made to tablesorter

Maybe you can find a clue there as to how to access the cache from
outside.
