Hey Time, Thanks for posting the solution. I actually have been having the same problem. I've been attempting to place some sliders within an accordion, and neither the startValue or "moveTo" was working properly.
I will try and post a bug report to the tracker, but it seems that at the moment the site is down: http://ui.jquery.com/bugs.
