I've double checked this issue by trying the example in the UI docs.
Try using the keyboard after you've clicked disable on the first
examplle on this page:

http://dev.jquery.com/view/tags/ui/1.5b2/demos/ui.slider.html

Could one of the authors please confirm that the current UI Slider
disable option does not disable keyboard functionality?

Could one of the authors please confirm whether this was a deliberate
choice or an oversight?

The code.google.com home for UI seems to have lost it's bug tracker.
If this is a bug, can I submit it myself or is this facility no longer
publicly available?
