Thanks Klaus for the explanation. At least now I know it is the normal
behavior.
I have tried to use the cookie option but didn't have good success. I
was reloading the whole tabs in an ajax setup, for some reason it
didn't quite work for me. I'll try the cookie option again. I was
getting a new cookie, with each reload. I'm not surprised if it is my
work flow that needs changing.
