Hello again, The "Virtual Sentence Board" at http://northbaddesley-inf.hants.sch.uk/nbis/curriculum/wordboard.php is proving to be quite popular among teachers & pupils at the school but I have run into what seems to be a variant of the "scroling/cursor jump" problem seen with earlier versions of jquery-ui.
On the page are a number of words which can be dragged around a virtual blackboard - these can all be dragged around without a problem whether the page is scrolled or not. I also have a little input field which allows users to type in a new word and click the "add" button to add their word to the board; the manually added word can be dragged around OK as long as the page is not scrolled - when the page is scrolled, however, the manually added words show the "cursor jump" phenomenon - clicking on a manually added word causes it to jump up by a distance proportional to the amount by which the page is scrolled. This seems to work the same on all browsers... I expect this is probably due to my inexperience and there is probably an easy fix, but if anybody does know of the reason why the manually added words don't drag in the same way as the others I would be grateful!
