Hmm, so you are declaring the click event on the document.ready of
"WebForm1.aspx", correct?
Can you try 2 things:
- Put an alert('test') at the same place and check if it actualy fires.
- Declare a js function closeDialog() { $("#mydiv").dialog("close"); }
Put the onclick="javascript:closeDialog()" directly on the button and see
if it works.
