I'm having the same issue-- that links to tab panels using fragment
identifiers don't open the tab panels.

Mine is a set of nested tabbed panels following Mark McLaren's
example:
http://cse-mjmcl.cse.bris.ac.uk/blog/2008/05/15/1210851116949.html

I note that links to fragmentidentifiers do work on his page when
coming from another site at the first level
http://cse-mjmcl.cse.bris.ac.uk/blog/jQueryNestedMenus/nested.html#fragment-2
(on mine they don't work at all)
but not at the second level
http://cse-mjmcl.cse.bris.ac.uk/blog/jQueryNestedMenus/nested.html#fragment-3c

Is there a way to make the top level work, as well as the nested tabs?
