Hi Richard,

I would be happy with the workaround mentioned there ->
http://groups.google.com/group/jquery-ui-dev/browse_thread/thread/4fc4707addca2723
But it is not possible to configure ui.dialog to use a positioned
wrapper div. The dialog div is always appended to the document.body.
I tried to change the specific part of the ui.dialog source-code, it
does solve the problem.
It would be nice, if ui.dialog could take it as an option to use this
wrapper div. I am working on a larger project and would prefer not to
change the source of the js-libraries used to keep it maintainable.

Greetings, Tobias
