Hey there, excuse me for this question, im a newbie to this whole thing. What I want to create is a sort of windows quicklaunch bar. What I have is a list of links which are controlled by classes to give different icons. I want the user to be able to drag a list item and drop it into the 'quick launch' type area, where only the icon is to be displayed.
So far I have got it to drag and drop ok, but the problems that I am having are; 1. the origional item has been removed from the list and placed into the 'quick launch bar' 2. the full list item, including text has been copied across. now i know that it is technically doing what it has been designed to do, but the question that i have is, can i do this? 1. drag a 'copy' into the quick launch bar, 2. change the 'copy' upon drag to only show the icon 3. once the 'copy' has been dropped, it should then appear in the list and in the quick launch area. is this possible to do? thanks Matthias -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "jQuery UI" group.
