This might not be the best solution, but it is 1:

You could try to position the dialog after the 'open' event. Set
opacity 0 on it with css initially, then set it to 1 once in place...
I gave it a try here : http://jsbin.com/ikaha3

I would be interested if anyone has a better idea though :)
