[Jruby-devel] JRuby on Rails

I know that perhaps some of you don't read my blog (for shame!) so I'll make a little announcement here too.

Last night I successfully got Rails to handle a request running under JRuby. There were only a few additional fixes and tweaks necessary to make it work, along with wiring it up as a CGI (yeah, it's slow). More details are on my blog, headius.blogspot.com.

Thanks to all of you contributing fixes and enhancements. We're showing that Open Source really does work (as if people needed one more example).

Now we move on making Rails run better and getting RubyGems running too!
