I think one of the biggest issues was the limited access to our own repository. Where with SF.net we can download a full repository dump any time, Java.net requires us to jump through hoops. We need to host JRuby stuff somewhere we know we'll always have unfettered access to all of the project's "intellectual property" if you will.

There were a few other things too...Tom, do you remember what else we discussed about Java.net?
