Hi Charles,

I'm glade to hear that you find GigaSpaces very interesting and we are also
exciting from the vast amount of options it opens.
We also think that the connection between the two platforms is so natural.

I think (if you're interesting) that we should push more in this direction
and even to provide an official support for it.

In fact the more I think of it JRuby on Rails can really easily integrate
with GigaSpaces to provide a Cluster based Web Application.
We provided similar projects in past for individuals (on different Web
server) but I think that establishing a formal way to do it can really put
JRuby on Rails as a leading platform for a scalable Web server (As I know
even on other Web server has such a full and simple solution and not even
for PHP).

That looks great! We're very excited more and more people are
realizing how easy it is to write Ruby code to access Java libraries
and subsystems using JRuby; I tried something out with EJBs just the
other day and was amazed at how simple it was.

Gigaspaces looks very interesting too; perhaps the first JavaSpaces
app I've found intriguing. It seems a very good match to pair up such
a straightfoward service platform with a simple, straightforwad
language like Ruby.

Thanks for the email!
