John Lam, from the RubyCLR project, has offered to share his time if I can't get in and his proposal is accepted. I've had a similar offer from Tim Bray, who submitted an i18n proposal. There's lots of support out there to get JRuby heard, but so far the best I'll do is piggybacking off others.
