Guess I should have stated that I did try a couple of different
configurations but to no avail.  Can't remember all the configs I tried, but
they were along the lines of specifying jdbcpostgresql as the adapter,
specifying jdbc as the adapter and providing a url of
jdbc:postgresql:<dbname> and a driver of org.postgresql.Driver, specifying a
socket of /var/run/postgresql, etc.
