Hi,
We too had the same problem.
we are using an alteon load balancer, but it doesn't seem to have a
stickiness feature.
What Load balancer are you guys using.
Thanks
Praveen

Hi,
We had the same problem but to our rescue the load balancer helped
by providing a feature called "Stickiness". Kindly check with your
load balancer manual with which you can set the stickiness "on",then
the user requests are bound to a web server and you do not loose
the session data. Which load balancer are you using ?
Shankar.

Subject: Load Balancing and Session Var's
All our java applications (servlets, JSP based) are run by JRUN and we
use the JRUN session to save session data. But since our website is
supported by two webservers with round-robin DNS load balancing, the
user can get switched to the other webserver in the middle of a session
and lose all the session data. Is there a solution for this. Is there a
way to make the web-browser to the same physical webserver for the life-
time of the web-browser session?
Any pointers or help would be greatly appreciated.
