Dear Keith,
This issue is noted in a few articles on the discussion forum for JRun.
Apparently, it has to do with the JDK HotSpot. I'm not sure if anyone has
been able to use the JDK 1.3, but this problem went away when I set up JRun
to use the JRE 1.2.2.

Subject: JRun Service
Not sure if this is a JRun Problem or an NT problem...I installed JRun 3 as
a service on an NT (SP6) machine, but when I log off of the machine it
doesn't keep the service active. I have to be logged on and lock the machine
for it to work. Any ideas?
