hi bob
thank for help
i using jrun 3.0
please help me for the following question
1) let say i have 10 virtual domain,
each domain with standard a folder for cgi or perl script,
d:\wwwroot\abc.com
d:\wwwroot\abc.com\cgi-bin
d:\wwwroot\xyz.com
d:\wwwroot\xyz.com\cgi-bin
do i have create a virtual script folder for every domain to map it with my
main site ?
d:\wwwroot\abc.com\script
d:\wwwroot\xyz.com\script
map to c:\inetpub\script\jrun.dll
2) Servlets go in the directory
/jrun/servers/default/default-app/Web-inf/classes.
if all the servlets go in this direcotry , then different customer must have
their
own folder to upload and download class or servlet file. how to seperate out
? i don want other domain user to see other ppl servlet.
if share in 1 folder then other user can use all the serlvet ?
3) is there anyway to run the servlet without using the port no ?
www.abc.com:8181/servlet/hello.java
or www.abc.com:8181/servlet/hello.jsp
or every jsp and servlet must run with the port no ?
i have read through in the forum, some ppl told than can be done, but no
instruction to given .
can you help ?
thank very much
wong
