I don't really understand what you are after. Can you give me an example of
how you would like to use the Connection Pool? What do you mean by an
application running under JRun?

I was wondering if it was possible to leverage JRun's Connection Pooling
externally to an application running under JRun? The reason I ask is that
the method for retrieving one using JNDI, and I would like to leverage that.

I can't give you any details as to when, but it is definitely a high
priority.

so the pool can only grow to a specified number?
I am using JRun connection pooling - is this configurable?
I checked out the Karl Moss's connection pooling article(very informative)
on JRun site, which indicates the pool grows as large as concurrent users.
But, it would it be preferable to control the users and database
connections independent of each other in most cases.
any opinions?
