Hi,

I am running Jrun 3.0 on Windows NT. I have the Oracle client
libraries
intalled on my machine. I am trying to set up a data source vai the
Management
Console to connect to a database. This works fine in sqlplus. I looked
at the
documentation and it specified to use the
oracle.jdbc.driver.Oracle.driver and the url of
URL:jdbcoracle:thin:@<mc-name>:<port-no>:<sid>.

As an aside, what is an mc-name? I specified it was the host of the
database I was trying to hit. In any case, when I try to test the data
source, I get an "unable to find jdbc driver" error. This is using the
default server. I pointed both the admin and default server class
pathes to include c:\Oracle\Ora81\jdbc\lib\classes12.zip. What am I
doing wrong?

I am using an eval copy, but we have just ordered the standard
edition. Is this part of my problem? And can I use the standard
edition or do I need professional for jdbc drivers? Finally, can I use
the oracle drivers or do I have to use Allaire drivers that I purchase
separately?

Amit
