Posted this on monday to the official jrun support forum. Got no answer. Giving it a try here. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------- I would like 1 local.properties file to work on both Nt4.0 and Win2000 and to run jview. The only problem is that the path to jview is different on those 2 O.S's. global.properties has a comment above the Java.exe property which says, # path to java virtual machine. Launchers will use system PATH if necessary java.exe=C:\\PROGRA~1\\JavaSoft\\JRE\\1.2\\bin\\javaw.exe I would construe that to mean jrun.exe should find jview if I put java.exe=jview.exe in my local.properties file. But it doesn't. I can run jview in a cmd shell by just typing jview, and typing PATH in the cmd shell indicates that c:\\winnt is in my path. And if I run jrun.bat, no problem. jview is found. So what's the real story? thanks, -randy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archives: http://www.egroups.com/group/jrun-interest/ Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/jrun_talk or send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body.
