Chris, Can you package up a sample that shows the problem? If it turns out to be a bug, I'll report it. Thanks, Steve Penella Allaire Corp. -----Original Message----- From: Chris Heinemann [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2000 4:47 PM To: JRun-Talk Subject: jsp:setProperty problem I am trying the jsp:setProperty on a class I wrote. I throw an Exception if the information is not valid. This worked wonders when I wrote my own set routine. Now with the setProperty tag I don't get the origonal exception. I tried using an errorpage and it got the same exception. Am I supposed to get my origional excpetion? I am on Jrun 3.0. This is the exception I get: <jsp:setProperty> on line '71' failed. The property set method threw an exception.
