I joined this group in hopes of getting help with a
problem with JRun Studio. I tried the Allaire forums, and my questions were
completely ignored. Very frustrating...
I downloaded and installed JRun Studio, 30 Day
evaluation version, on a computer with Windows2000 Server Sp1. I have JRun 3.0
Server, Development edition. I am also running ColdFusion Enterprise Server
4.5.1 Sp1, and Cold Fusion Studio 4.5.1. This is where the problem
begins.
After installing JRun Studio, it automatically
associated all .cfm files with JRun studio. And, when I went to the provided
Windows applet to change the association back to ColdFusion Studio, it wouldn't
let me. The button was greyed out, and changing it wasn't possible.
Then, I launched JRun Studio, and then tried to
launch ColdFusion Studio to compare the two. ColdFusion Studio wouldn't launch.
I closed JRun Studio, and ColdFusion Studio opened just fine. While that was
open, I tried to launch JRun studio again, and it wouldn't launch until I closed
ColdFusion Studio. Why can't both be open at the same time? And why does JRun
Studio steal the .cfm files? Has anyone else had this problem?
It's not a RAM issue, I have 256MB.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Alexander DiMauro
