Are you sure that was the fix? I have datasources on my default server that
aren't on my admin server, and they test fine on the default server.

To get the Test button to work, you also have to add the driver to the
classpath for the admin server (and restart the admin server).

Subject: SQL Server, IIS 5.0 and JRUN - JDBC-ODBC drivers
Hi Folks,
I'm having some problems interfacing with our SQL Server, and I'm wondering
if anyone can help?
I have successfully set an ODBC connection to one of our databases on our
SQL 7.0 server. JRUN and IIS 5.0 are working fine together. The problem I
am having is getting the JRUN server to talk to the ODBC connection I set
up.
I downloaded a copy of an JDBC-ODBC driver called JTURBO. It currently sits
on our server's C: drive in C:\JTURBO-420\. I added this to the classpath
of the default server, and added this information in as the jdbc source:
Name: dupontdb (the DSN of my ODBC connection)
Display name: dupont
Driver: com.ashna.jturbo.driver.Driver
URL Name: jdbc:JTurbo:dupontdb
I then save it and go back to the JDBC menu. When I click TEST, I get the
error "No valid JDBC driver is specified". Can someone point out my
(obvious?) error!??!
Here are my two lines in the classpath list:
/JTurbo4-20/com/ashna/jturbo/driver (I added this one to see if it would
solve the error - it didn't).
/JTurbo4-20
I have stopped and started the JRUN server, but it didn't make any
difference (I thought I might need to do this to have it update its
classpath).
Thanks in advance,
Brian.
