Why not make separate lists for JRun and Cold Fusion?  I would like this for JRun but I definitely don't want a mailbox full of Cold Fusion code.

Subject: (Admin) New List - Components

As you all know, there is no posting of attachments or HTML email to the
lists. This was done for security and bandwidth issues. On the other hand,
there are things that people do want to send and receive over email as
attachments. In addition, we have a few communities here that really should
start talking to each other in some way.
The solution to all these issues is the new [EMAIL PROTECTED]
list. This list will allow the posting of CF modules, scripts, servlets,
components, and code samples to all subscribed. This will also allow people
from JRun to see what the CF people are doing and visa versa. I believe that
this will be a good thing for both communities and will help them both grow.
A word of warning though. The list will allow ALL HTML messages,
Attachments, etc. This means that the standard protection that dumps a virus
down into HTML will be disabled. Please post responsibly and take
precautions before opening any attachment. I don't expect anyone to
deliberately send viruses to the list but its better to be aware.
