christain,
I did a simple test using Form based default authentication mechanism (use
uers.properties) on our win 2000 machine, and it works fine (as well as on
NT). So your problem may be related to the browser caching or version.
There will be a SP2a available to download tomorrow, please apply SP2a and
see if you still
have the same problem.

Subject: j_security_check problem

We run JRun 3.0 with a developer license and sp2 installed on win2000.

We have a problem with j_security_check. Sometimes when we hit
j_security_check with correct username & password it won't let us through to
our security constrained resource the first time we hit j_security_check.
But when we hit it repetively it let us through to the security constrained
resource in the end. The problem is the same when we use the default
authentication mechanism were we setup users, roles and password in the
users.properties file and when we our own implementation of
allaire.jrun.security.AuthenticationInterface. Our problem is that it give
our users a very bad user experience that they have to go through several
login attempts until j_security_check will let them in...

Any ideas what the problem can be with j_security_check?
