hi,
one reason for getting an error "could not start java
process" is you may not have correct version of JRE
with JRUN 3.0. and the correct version of Oracle.
You need to have JDK1.1.8 for Oracle 8i. 8.1.6.
and JDK1.2.2 for oracle 8.1.7
You need to load classes111.zip or classes 12.zip (if
you jdbc2.) in to JDK/bin directory.
set the classpath to .zip file in JRUN. JRUN does not
take environmental classpath. You need to set in JRUN
java settings in both admin and default server.
Hope it would be helpful you.
regards
Arjun
