I need to upgrade to JRun 2.3 from jdk 1.2 to jdk 1.2.2. I have another JRun
2.3 server running jdk1.2.2 so to upgrade this one, I just copied the JDK1.2.2 into
the JRun folder and changed all the JRun paths to point to jdk1.2.2. I then
renamed the jdk1.2 folder. I did not actually run an installer forJ DK
1.2.

This seems to have worked fine. My question is this a good way to
upgrade to another JDK or do I really need to run the jdk 1.2.2 installer (it's a long
story, but I'm not in a situation to get the actuall installer right now)? The
jdk 1.2.2 folder has all the class and executable files which Jrun is now using.
I am just curious if someone forsees a problem with this. . .

Thanks in
advance,

Pat
.
