Can you check the Event log files in the JRUn directory of whateverserver
you are using

Check for any " ! "

Might give you the cLue on the Process which is gobbling up the
resources....

Also try killing the JVM instance then

The one that came with the Jrun 3.0 CD, JavaSoft JRE 1.2.

Even stranger is that *some* pages continue to function while others remain
totally dead.  e.g., the home page of the site, which really doesn't have
any complex code in it, remains up while virtually every other page of the
site goes down.
