You can specify the thread model as a switch when you run java as
in java -native/-green depending on what you want. Another way to set
it up would be to set up the environment before calling java by
% setenv THREADS_FLAG native.
From personal experience I would make sure your version of Solaris
has the right patch level(very important). Check javasoft for more
info on the required patch level.
