Hi Mathew,
An Extranet Application (J2EE) .
My idea is to access the application through a browser and
when user complete some operation (Eg: Invoicing) the Cash Box should open
automatically.
You must have seen this in SuperMarkets. But all those are PC based systems.
So my venture is to find out is it Possible to controll the Cash Drawer Thru
some Browser Scripting
or the worst case thru some applets.

What sort of app?  External server web based or local HTML files web based?
Applets? etc.
