Ahh. I asked this question this week. If there is an archieve you may wish
to serach for thread "class path" by Won Lee.

Sahaya recommended:
Have you checked your classpath in java settings in JMC under default
server. It seems like the path is not set properly.

Also...make you sure you do not have conflicting port numbers too.

Well, that didn't work. if you look at the following error, we are running
in

/data/jrun/servers/demonstration/demonstration-app/

but to find the package, JRun never looks in

/data/jrun/servers/demonstration/demonstration-app/WEB-INF/classes

instead it looks in

/data/jrun/servers/default/default-app/WEB-INF/classes

It's driving us nuts!

I have a similiar situation and found that this works:

Libraries that are common to all jrun servers are put in the
{jrun.rootdir}/server/lib directory.

Libraries that are common to all apps running in a jrun server are put in
{jrun.server.rootdir}/lib directory.

By default, every Jrun server has these directories in their classpaths. To
verify this, using the Jrun Management Console (JMC) check the Java Settings
for a Jrun server and view the classpath entries.

Libraries that are used only by a specific app are put in the WEB-INF/lib or
WEB-INF/classes directories for the application.

Hope this helps.

Tom D.
