Couple of thoughts...any reason why you couldn't
format it as an HTML document since Word supports this? If there is still
an issue, I have been able to do something like this by programmatically
building an RTF document and loading it into Word. While Word itself puts
alot of extra 'stuff' in their RTF documents, you should be able to identify the
tags that are actually necessary to do what you are wanting to do by looking at
the source of an RTF document in Wordpad (or whatever).
