I agree with the other comments that ASP or ColdFusion are good ways to
combine data with formatting. I've used both and I think CF is the better
tool. But your question is a little ambiguous. If you're thinking about
saving both the data AND the formatting instructions in the database, you
might want to look at using XML and XSL (eXtensible Style Language). For an
example of how this would work, go to www.xml101.com/xsl.

May be it is a wrong place to ask but I find this forum a bit more lively
than some other forums.
I need to get data from the database and Need to format the data and
construct a HTML file with data formatted as in the data should be BOLD,
Diff font size for heading and then tab spacing and then other features.
Is there a API with which I can do this.
